I have worked as a community midwife providing one-to-one support for more than a decade and understand the value myself having had three babies with community midwives. Having one person support you throughout is beneficial to all outcomes, especially if you want a home birth.

My private antenatal midwifery services are based in Hackney but I also cover areas in North and East London including Leyton, Leytonstone and Walthamstow as well as areas of Tower Hamlets and Haringey.

Antenatal Appointments

Individual Antenatal Appointments

Cost: £250 in person 9(90-120 Minutes)

These appointments offer a calm, supportive space to check in on your pregnancy, discuss your wellbeing and prepare for birth at a pace that feels comfortable and unhurried.

Appointments typically include:

  • Blood pressure and urine checks
  • Listening to your baby’s heartbeat (from appropriate gestation)
  • Discussion of any symptoms, concerns or questions
  • Guidance on nutrition, wellbeing and preparing for birth
  • Evidence-based support tailored to your circumstances
  • Exploring birth preferences and planning
  • Blood Tests including Glucose Tolerance Testing if indicated. (Additional Cost)

Package of Antenatal Appointments

Cost: Starts from £2,000 (London)

A fully personalised antenatal care package tailored to your specific needs and to optimise you and your babies health with evidenced based continuity of care.

A private antenatal package includes:

  • An initial phone call when you find out you are pregnant to start planning your care
  • Guide to how to access NHS services and choose hospital/trust that suits your needs most and how to get the best out of the service
  • Once a month visits from 9 weeks, 2 weekly visits from 28 weeks, weekly visits from 36 weeks until birth. (8-12 visits – 90-120 minutes each)
  • Antenatal Class
  • Text/Whatsapp availability for support.

Personalised Antenatal Class

Cost: £300 – 2.5–3 hours

A fully personalised antenatal session delivered in the comfort of your home. This class is designed around your needs, your pregnancy history and your preferences for birth.

You will learn about:

  • The childbirth process and your available options
  • How to use the BRAIN decision-making tool during pregnancy and labour
  • How to create your Birth Plan / Birth Preferences
  • Making informed choices during labour and birth
  • What to expect in the early postnatal period
  • Hypnobirthing
  • (In-person) Routine antenatal check including listening to your baby’s heartbeat

This session supports you in feeling informed, confident and prepared to create your birth plan.

Birth Planning Sessions

Cost: £150 online / £200 in person – 1.5–2 hours

A one-to-one session to explore your birth options and develop clear, personalised birth preferences.

Includes:

  • Tailored discussion based on your individual circumstances
  • Review of any previous births (if applicable)
  • Understanding your priorities and options
  • Support in creating or refining your birth plan

Ideal if you want clarity, structured planning and reassurance ahead of labour.

Complete Birth Package

Cost: Starting from £8,000* (London areas)

*Pricing can be adjusted based on gestation at booking, number of appointments required or individual circumstances.

This package offers full midwifery support throughout pregnancy, labour and the postnatal period, with continuity from a known and trusted midwife.

The Birth Package includes:

  • Care from 9 weeks of pregnancy onward
  • +/- NIPT (additional cost)
  • +/- Blood Tests (additional cost)
  • Complete schedule of antenatal appointments
  • 24/7 on-call support during your birth window
  • Two Trained Birth attendants including myself present for the birth at home
  • Support in hospital if required
  • Entonox (gas & air) for home births
  • Full midwifery insurance
  • Postnatal visits (7 in first 2 weeks then once weekly until 4 weeks) for newborn care, feeding support and maternal wellbeing
  • Continuous communication, reassurance and guidance throughout
