Hi, my name is Marguerite Anne Williams, and I am a maternity specialist. I am compassionate and committed, with over a decade of experience as a midwife providing the full range of pregnancy care in the UK.
I’ve mostly worked in the NHS, primarily in the community, offering antenatal care, antenatal education, homebirth care, hospital birth care, and postnatal care at home.
Midwife and Breastfeeding Support
I Love Love Love all things infant feeding and am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and Tongue Tie Practitioner.
I have expertise in supporting women to reach their breastfeeding goals, including natural term breastfeeding, physiologically led bottle feeding, and gentle weaning.
Originally from Barbados, I now live with my husband and three sons in Hackney, Northeast London. My experience with parenthood and being a working mother in London makes me particularly aware of the challenges families face in making informed choices for the well-being of all family members.
I am passionate and excited to offer support and empowering knowledge and skills around childbirth. Due to the knowledge I had, the personalised support I received through my pregnancies, and the advocacy I made for my personal choices, I have had three extremely positive homebirth and infant feeding experiences. As such, I wish to offer care packages holistically tailored to families to help them have the positive birthing and feeding experience they desire.
I offer personalised Antenatal Classes, Midwifery Antenatal, Birth and Postnatal Care, Lactation Consultant and Tongue Tie practitioner services.
Services offered
I offer a variety of antenatal and postnatal care including personalised antenatal classes at home or online. As a lactation consultant and tongue tie practitioner I can also provide all round breastfeeding support.
Breastfeeding Support
I can help support you through your first baby feeds and provide in-person and remote guidance.
Midwifery Care
Ante- and post-natal care including supporting you during labour and delivery at home or birth centre.
Tongue-tie Division
I conduct tongue-tie assessments at your home and provide division and breastfeeding support.
